Moses Smith's 1st wife was Elizabeth Wallis (1725-1753) with whom he had children Moses and Elizabeth. Moses married Ruth Little in 1754 and the couple had 7 children: Ruth Little (1756-1778), Mary (1757-1784), Daniel (1759-1761), Daniel (1761-1782), Aaron (1763-1849), Jabez (1764-1813), Abigail (1767-1851).
Ruth passed away in 1778.
