Biography

Mary Ann Little was born in 1838 in Canada, the daughter of James and _____ (Lindsay) Little.[1]

She married George Washington Thurber, b: Dec. 1834 in New York, New York, USA, shortly before the Civil War. He was a SSgt. US Army in the US Civil War. In 1880 the couple were living in Stanton Township, St Croix, Wisconsin with 6 children. George W. Thurber passed away on 18 Sep 1903 (aged 68) at Leavenworth, Leavenworth County, Kansas, USA. He was buried at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Leavenworth County, Kansas, USA, in Section 17, Row 6, Site 16. [2]

Mary Ann (Little) Thurber survived her husband's passing. She passed away on 9 February 1918 in Seattle, King Co., Washington, United States.[1] She was buried at the Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park, Seattle, King County, Washington, USA.[3]

The death certificate I just attached shows her her father's name as James Little, so her LNAB should be changed to "Little".
