Biography
Lydia Josephine "Docia" Little, daughter of Aaron A Little and Mary Ellen Baucom,[1] was born about born on 1 April,[2] probably in 1884. She may have originally been named Lily[3] and used the nickname Docia, also seen spelled or indexed as Doshia, Dacia,[4] and Dalia.[5] Her name was misspelled on her tombstone as Lyda.[2]
She died on 19 January 1931 at age 47[8] and was buried at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Monroe, Union County, North Carolina where she shares a stone with John.[2]
