"Sudden death of a Farmer. On Tuesday evening last Mr Andrew Little, farmer, Penton, died suddenly in his own house. He was sitting reading in a chair about eight o’clock when he fell from his seat and expired. Dr Graham of Longtown having certified to the cause of his death, it was not considered necessary to hold an inquest. Deceased was 67 years of age."
