Her Hocąk name WaWaHasMonEWinKah (1911 census) is for Wawahasmąnįwįga, "She Chases Them Away as She Walks," which is from, wa-, "them"; wahás, "to chase away"; mąnį́, "to walk, she walks"; -wį-, a feminine gender infix; -ga, a definite article suffix used in personal names. Given her father's name, it is safe to say that she was a member of the Bear Clan.
