Biography

Nathaniel Littlefield was born 6 April 1691 to Edmond and Elizabeth (Mott) Littlefield. ^[1]

Nathaniel married (1) Abigail Spear on 18 December 1718, ^{[1] [2]} she was buried 10 March 1726. ^{[1] [3]}

Nathaniel married (2) Deborah Thayer on 6 April 1731. ^{[1] [4]}

Nathaniel was elected surveyor of highways 1728, ^[5] constable 1736 but refused it, ^{[6] [7]} on a committee for a school in the So. Precinct 1730, ^[8] surveyor of highways 1733. ^[9] His father gave him half of his homestead of 125 acres & 1/4 part of his saw mill. He was partner in the Land Bank scheme of 1740. ^[1]
