According to John Peter Bernard ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Peter_Bernard ):

Sir William Littleton (1450–1507) eldest son of the judge, had issue by his second marriage one son John, his heir, and one daughter Anne, the wife of Thomas Rouse of Ragley in Warwickshire. She was mother of the Lady Abbess of Ramsey. Sir William had likewise a natural son called William Littleton alias Lodge, afterwards of Cressage in Shropshire. He [Sir William] was the first of the family who bore the triton as a supporter. He sealed many deeds with the same crest as the judge, his father, and spelled his name Littleton. He lived in great splendor at Frankley till his death November the 8th 1508, and was interred in the great church of the abbey of Hales-Owen.

His supposed is birth is about 1484 in Frankley, Worcestershire and death in about 1523 in Frankley, Worcestershire.

Thanks for the data, but unable to ascertain what paper/document by John Peter Barnard you have extracted the note? The reference to him that you give is a biography of Barnard and not the lityleton family.

Sorry to be a pest bu still unable to add William

No worries then, Robin,

I will, however, create Sir Thomas Lodge if you could add a note about grandson, Sir Thomas Lodge through his illegitimate son, William Littleton alias Lodge it would be much appreciated. I will contact you about a WikiTree ID in about a week or two if you would do this.

I will add Sir Thomas Lodge as soon as possible!

By an unknown mistress, he had an illegitimate son, William Littleton alias Lodge, who was the father of Sir Thomas Lodge, Lord Mayor of London.

If you add, William, I will add Sir Thomas Lodge. I don't have Pre-1500 Certification.

I believe william Littleton was born about 1475 in Gravely Eng. and Died 1507-11-08; His father was Thomas De Littleton bornunknown in Frankly Eng. and died About 1481 (He was a judge) He did not take his fathers surname. took his mothers instead. He married Joan Burley about1444. There is a lot of information about him on wikipedia.
