Jane was born in 1589. Jane Littleton ... She passed away in 1657. ^[1]

'Jane Knightley widow relict of Richard Knightley late of Fawsley Northamptonshire Esq., deceased' made her Will on 24th January 1655/6. She made bequests to the following :

• son Richard Knightley and his wife
• son Edward Knightley and his wife Katherine
• son Devereux Knightley
• son Valentine Knightley
• son Lucey Knightley and his wife and their children
• her grandchildren Richard; Essex; Elizabeth and Jane Knightley. Henry Gastrell plus his wife and their son Edward Gastrell
• her son John Thompson
• her daughter Jane Thompson
• her grandchild Richard Thompson
• her brother Gilbert Littleton
• her sisters Lettice Littleton and Eleanor Babington
• her brother Richard Hill

The Executors, and residuary legatees, were named as her sons Devereux Knightley and Valentine Knightley and her Overseers were named as Sir Richard Shuckburgh and 'my son Shelton'

The Will was proved by Devereux and Valentine on 15th September 1658.^[2]
