This Southy is conflated/connected to the wrong father/generation. He names his sister Sarah Custis Littleton, not a misspelling, she was also named as a daughter in the will of their father, Nathaniel Littleton. He names his brother Joseph Maxfield, the son of this deceased "brother Maxfield" was left a bequest in the will of this Southy's little sister, Esther (Littleton) Savage. Esther's 1760 deposition states her brother Southy died without issue...the 1712/13 will appears to be his.
