Ruby was born 20 Jan 1863, in St. Clair Co., Illinois. She was the daughter of William Lively and Elizabeth (Wiggs) Lively. She married John George Strawbridge 18 Sep 1884, in Belleville, St. Clair Co., Illinois. They had 5 children before her death 29 Jan 1893, in Perry Co., Illinois. She was buried n the Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Perry Co., Illinois.
