Biography

George Livermore was born in Essex, England.

George Livermore was born in 1830. He was the son of coal porter, Shadrach Livermore and Kezia Clarke. George was baptised independent at the First Meeting House or old Chapel, in Chelmsford, Essex on 8th August 1830. ^[1][2]

In 1841, George was living with his parents and six siblings in Springfield, Essex. ^[3]

In 1851, George was living at Friar's Place in Springfield, Essex. He was a cooper's apprentice. ^[4]

In 1853, George married Mary Ann Haydon. The marriage was registered in Poplar, London, England. ^[5] Mary's last name was recorded as Heydon.

George and his wife emigrated to Australia from London on March 8th 1854, arriving in Sydney on 18th November 1854 aboard the ship called Kate. He was recorded to be a cooper. ^[6]

George was widowed in 1894. ^{[citation needed]}

This profile previously alluded to George's occupation as a shop assistant in Bundamba, Creek Junction in 1903.

George passed away on 22nd June 1909. His death was registered in Queensland. ^[7]
