Biography

Mabel was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on August 17, 1901.^[1] She was the daughter of James Livingston and Annie MacMullen. She was enumerated in the 1910 census ^[2] as an eight year old residing with her parents and three siblings at 1840 Somerset Street, Philadelphia. The family moved to 3085 Emerald Street where they would live through at least 1965. Mabel appears there with her parents in the 1920, ^[3] 1930, ^[4] and 1940 census. ^[5] In 1920 she was a "Stenographer" for a clock company, in 1930, a "Stenographer " for a shirt manufacturer. In 1940, she was thirty eight, single, and showed no employment.

Mabel passed away in 1976.^[6] The Social Security Death Index listed her as Jane, born March 17, 1901, last known residence Montgomery, Pennsylvania. She was seventy five.
