Biography

Samuel was born on 13 Feb 1847 to John Thomas Lloyd and Mary Ann Wells.[1][2][3][4][5] He married Mary Watkins on 12 August 1874 in Alexandria, Virginia.[6] They had six children. Samuel died on 16 Nov 1925.[7][8][9]

    Funeral services for Samuel W. Lloyd, who died Monday at his home near Franconia, Fairfax County, will be conducted in the Beulah Baptist church at that point at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, after which the body will be brought here for interment in the Methodist Protestant cemetery.
