WEDDING (1) REPORT. Yet another pretty wedding took place last Saturday at St. Matthews when Miss Gladys Lloyd became Mrs. Michael [sic, Lionel] Hubon. A trailer posie of frangipanni and gardenias was carried against a lovely old-world frock of white lace over taffeta with fitting bodice and full flared skirt failing to a graceful train. The long lace edged veil was held in place by a coronet of white flowers and white lace mittens completed the picture. As she left the church little Susan Hoare presented the bride with a satin horseshoe. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Gwenda Gorrie [sic, Gorey], who looked really charming in a beautiful frock of petunia satin striped taffeta, large picture hat of pastel pink, blue and mauve tulle, with little velvet flowers pressed between stiffened tulle in brim and pink silk mittens and she carried a very sweet trailer posie of blue delphiniums and corn flowers and pink carnations and charm dahlias. The best man was Pte. Joe. Berryman. The reception was held at The Wattle in Perth where Mrs. Lloyd received her guests wearing a delightful frock of beige lace over blue taffetta, matching blue hat and beige gloves, bag and shoes. A spray of fuschias attached to the bag made a very attractive spiash of color. After the reception Mrs. Hubon changed into a very smart frock of beige crepe with an American Beauty hat and bag with beige gloves and shoes.
