Hannah Lloyd was baptized 5 May 1740 in Rodington, Shropshire, England. She was the daughter of William and Hannah Barber Lloyd. She married Phillip Hayward in Wellington, Shropshire, England at All Saints Anglican Church 30 Apr 1760. A William Lloyd was one of the witnesses. In 1770, she was included in her father William’s will as “my daughter Hannah Hayward”. She received one shilling. Her burial record stated she was 74 years of age and lived at Trench Lane. Hannah was buried 19 Feb 1814 in Wrockwardine and T Gilpin performed the ceremony.

And the remainder of my wearing apparel I give to my Brother in Law Thomas Ottal (with Phillip Hayward scratched out).”
