When Edgar Lee Lloyd was born on June 10, 1873, in Pocomoke City, Maryland, USA, his father, Christopher, was 41 and his mother, Mary, was 32.
He married Maude Storrs Farr on January 15, 1903, in Georgetown, South Carolina, USA. They had one child during their marriage. They divorced on 5 Mar 1919 in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
He died on June 3, 1933, in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA, at the age of 59, and was buried in his hometown.
