Biography
Josephine was born in about 1826 (based on her marriage date). She was the daughter of Henry Lloyd and Harriet Amelia Carden.
She married Henry Robert Westenra 2nd/3rd Baron Rossmore of Monaghan (son of Warner William Westenra, 1st/2nd Baron Rossmore of Monaghan and Mary Ann Walsh) on 19 May 1846 at Camla, County Monaghan, Ireland.
As a result of her marriage, Josephine was styled as Baroness Rossmore of Monaghan on 19 May 1846.
They had the following children:
- Hon. Frances Kathleen Westenra (d. 7 Aug 1925)
- Hon. Norah Josephine Harcourt Westenra (d. 13 Sep 1934)
- Henry Cairns Westenra, 3rd/4th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan (b. 14 Nov 1851, d. 28 Mar 1874)
- Derrick Warner William Westenra, 4th/5th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan (b. 7 Feb 1853, d. 31 Jan 1921)
- Hon. Richard Hamilton Westenra (b. 2 May 1854, d. 22 Dec 1880)
- Hon. Peter Craven Westenra (b. 12 Sep 1855, d. 2 Jan 1932)
Her husband died in 1860.
Josephine married, secondly, Lt.-Col. George William Stacpoole (son of Richard John Delazouch Stacpoole and Jane Stacpoole) on 18 June 1863 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, England.[1]
They had no children together.
Her second husband passed away in 1894.
