m. George Edward Yates (an Englishman) in a customary marriage which was recognised as legitimate by Ghana, but later denied legitimacy in the UK when her grandson's immigration came under fire[1]
d/o AG (Augustine George) Lloyd born in England & Sarah of Dixcove, Ghana
however, AG's service records indicate he was in Sierra Leone from 1896-1899 so he may not be the father of Dorothy OR he may have visited Ghana between those dates and met Sarah... or Dorothy's birthdate (as provided by her son) was wrong - he is the only Lloyd employed in the Colonial Service during the relevant time period
Sarah Agga? was a farmer and a trader. She had a shop in the market at Sekondie - Dorothy was her only child.
m2 ?? Vardon
