Ann Lloyd was born about 1590. She was probably born at Holyrood Ampney, Gloucestershire and is believed to be the daughter of Thomas Lloyd.
On 26 Sep 1613 she married Richard Trotman. They married at Whitminster, Gloucestershire. [1] He died in 1624 leaving Ann a widow.
On 27 Oct 1628 she married Richard Selwyn, gent at Whitminster, Gloucestershire. The register described her as Mrs Ann Trotman. [2]
In 1635 Ann received a bequest in the will of Ann Trotman. To my sister Margaret Trotman and her daughter in law Ann Selwyn [3] In 1647 Ann was the last named beneficiary in the will of her son Charles.
The bequest to Ann in the Will of Ann Trotman has been frequently mistranscribed as my daughter in law. examination of the will image shows clearly that the word is her. Greet-49 02:05, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
