Biography

Mattie (Lloyd) Gregory was an Appalachian.

Mattie was born in 1899, Meadowview, Virginia to Walter Preston and Nancy Tipton Ryan LLoyd.[1] She was the sister of Thomas Cleveland Lloyd.

She married William Oscar Gregory on 08 Jun 1916 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.[2]

They had the following children:

  3. Nancy K Gregory[4]
  4. Ruby M Gregory[4]
  5. Bonnie Gregory[4]
  6. Wiley[5]
