Eli Junior Lloyd, son of Hopkins H. Lloyd and Nancy H. (Phifer) Lloyd, was born in 1860 in Texas.[1] He appeared on the census of 19 July 1860 in the home of his parents at Limestone County, Texas.[2] He appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in the home of his mother at Limestone County, Texas.[3]

He married Ellen Frances Sanderson, daughter of William Franklin Sanderson and Celia "Sealy" (Boatwright) Sanderson, about 1883.

He was a farmer when he and Ellen Frances appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 at Groesbeck, Limestone County, Texas.[4]

Eli died in 1917 probably in Limestone County, Texas and was buried at Hogan Cemetery, Groesbeck, Limestone County, Texas. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, and biographical material.[1]
