Robert was born about 1500. He was married to Margaret, daughter of Reignallt ap David ap Gruffudd ap Maredydd of Careg Hwfa, ap Ednyfed Gam of Llys Pengwern in Nanheudwy.[1]
"Robert Lloyd died some years prior to 1591, at a great age. Although his half-brother, Howel Vaughan, was living in 1568, there is every reason to doubt that Robert lived even to that year. He married Mary, daughter of Reynold ap Griffith of Upper Branas."[2]
Robert-Llwyd, of Gwerny Brechtwyn, who married Mary,, daughter of Reinaullt, of Branas Uchaf, and had, Thomas Robert-Llwyd, 1520-1612, of Nant y Friar,, or Nanfreur, in Penllyn, Merioneth, buried in the parish church of Llandderfel, 21 May 1612.[3]
