Thomas Henry Lloyd was born on 4th November 1814 and baptised at St George's Liverpool, Lancashire on 2nd December 1814.[1] He was the son of Llewelyn Lloyd (-1866) and Jane (Falkner) Lloyd (abt.1780-). The register gives both his birth and baptism dates and confirms his mother's maiden name as Falkner. His father stated that he was a merchant and that the family were living in Aigburth at the time.
