María de la Asencion (if all these records are for one woman) used three different surnames during her lifetime: Lobato (Lovato), her father's surname, Gutierres (Butierres), a surname her mother used, possibly from her padrinos,[6] and Carillo y Telles. Telles Jiron was José Angel's mother's surname and Carillo was his grandmother's surname.
Juan Pablo and María de la Asención were married on 8 Oct 1827, twelve days before their daughter María Manuela was born. However, her baptism record says she was a natural daughter so there must have been something wrong with the first marriage ceremony. There is a second marriage record on 7 Nov 1827. What's interesting is the names of the bride, groom, and parents, differ on all three records just a bit.
Juan Brito, son of Miguel Brito and María Gertrudis (illegible)
con María de la Sencion, daughter of María Dolores Vutierres.
