Did their middle initial stand for anything at all, or totally meaningless? H... Henry, Harry, Howard, Henderson? L... Lawrence, Lionel, Lemuel, or nothing?
1930 census at Jackson, Mississippi shows Robert H. Lockhart, age 59, living with a brother "Canaday Lockhart" (May it was really "Canada Lockhart", or "Kennedy Lockhart" but the census-taker couldn't spell?) Did the middle initial H. stand for anything, or meaningless?
