Nathan Hoyt, born 29 April 1718 in Norwalk, Connecticut, died there on 21 October 1799, and his wife Elizabeth Lockwood, born 23 May 1721 in Norwalk, Connecticut, are honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution for patriotism: 1) INSPECTOR OF PROVISIONS 1780. Their son Nathan Hoyt, born 17 August 1754 in Norwalk, Connecticut, married Sarah Benedict.[1]
