Biography

John was born 1862 and he passed away 1945. He is buried next to his wife Rebecca in Escambia County, however his death certificate shows he died in Robertsdale, Baldwin County where he had been residing and where some of his descendants settled.

Another point of interest is that his wife Rebecca is on a 1900 Census in Butler County, Alabama, but she is also found with him on a 1900 Census in Washington State. It is most certainly them. On the census record they have all their children and her mother Mary Reeves with them. Why they would be in both places so far away in the same year is another project for research but they are back in Crenshaw, Alabama by 1910.

Lowe-2817 and Loe-197 appear to represent the same person because: This family and the census takers spelled their last name in various ways, Loe, Low, Lowe but these two profiles are the same person. Same parents, same birth and death dates, same first and middle name. They need to be merged so that their is only one profile on Wikitree. Thanks!!
