She was the daughter of Abraham Lösch [= Loesch] and Christina Schumacher[1]
The spelling of the surname Loesch gradually changed to Lash in the 19th century. Her marriage bond (Stokes Co. NC) was as Polly Lash, but the Moravian church record of the marriage reads "8:3664. Oct. 30, 1823. In the home of her parents, Br. Pfohl married the single Sr. Maria Christina Loesch to the widower Benjamin Hauser, who does not belong to us."[2]
She married Benjamin Hauser on 30 Oct 1823[3] He died in 1857, and in 1860, Mary is living with her son Henry in Pfafftown, North Carolina.[4]
