Biography
Rebecca was born in 1819 to Hugh Logan and Elizabeth Archibald. She married James Layton in June of 1850 - officiated by Rev. Charles Tupper, D.D. They had 4 children (see James's profile). She died at age 81 in 1900 at Amherst.
Research Note
There are 2 couples in Nova Scotia named Hugh Logan and Elizabeth Archibald. These parents were married in Cumberland in 1818. They are not the ones in Colchester County that were married in 1794.
