Biography

Agnes was born about 1854. She was the daughter of James Logan and Agnes McKinlay. She passed away after 1891.

  • 1891 Scotland Census indicates that Agnes was age 37 and was living with her sister Margt, age 45, at 44 Bridge Street, Bonhill, Dumbartonshire, Scotland; she is listed as a tailoress; 1901 Scotland Census indicates Agnes, age 47, lives at 187 Middleton Street, Alexandria, Dumbartonshire, and is a dressmaker

Scotland, Select Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950 indicate her birthdate as April 23, 1853....thus unclear as to whether she was born in 1853 or 1854.

Agnes did not marry. After she died in 1932 at 11 Bridge Street, Alexandria, the informant on her death record was her nephew, Charles Creveul who was living at 181 Middleton Street, Alexandria. Sources: Scottish Statutory Registers
