Mamie was born on 22 October 1911 (1931 & 1933 censuses) , on the Winnebago Reservation in Thurlow, Nebraska. An incorrect date of her birth, 3 August 1912, is given on her Death Certificate.
Family
She was the daughter of Richard Logan, and the step-daughter of his wife, Della Clay. Della had been married to Littlewolf and had two children by him. (1928 census) However, the 1917 census explicitly states that Mamie, along with a number of her siblings, was the daughter of Richard Logan and his former wife Mary L. Crow (Áksiáka, b. 1875), deceased. This is confirmed by Minnie's Death Certificate. Her obituary and the censuses list the following siblings:

Death
She died on May 22, 1933 at 12:50 p.m. in St. Joseph Hospital, Sioux City, Iowa of primary aplastic anemia. (DC)
