Not documented that this couple of Ayr, Scotland are parents of the immigrant Logans John, David, William and James Logan who came to America and settled in VA. This couple did have sons of same names born at the right time to be these immigrant brothers, but no documentation that the Logan brothers of Ayr left for either Ireland or America. Also the association of this John Logan of Ayr as son of James Logan is a matter of debate between Logan researchers. John and Agnes of Ayr had 13 children, 6 of whom died early. The remaining sons were John, David, James and William and a daughter Margaret. Baptismal records are available in Ayr. --note by Barbara Baker?

Logan-652 and Logan-1421 appear to represent the same person because: Aside from the date of birth, there is no conflicting information, in fact, one profile has very little information. I suggest the merge using the date of birth that actually has a date. Hamon-137
Logan-652 and Logan-1294 appear to represent the same person because: Same person--Notes in my version mentions the possible discrepancy in place of birth.
Loggan-16 and Logan-652 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents. Alternate spelling noted in my version. Please cite source for the exact dates you have!
