It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Rebecca by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Rebecca:
Homer, do you have more info on her marriage to "Rev. Parker"? The only Rev. Parker I've found is Rev. Thomas who m. Mary Jenkins. I do, however, find a Benjamin Parker, son of Robert, b. 1674, who m. a Rebecca Lumbart, sister of Mary, who m. his brother Daniel Parker [NEHGR 112:265]. Am I getting close? I don't see a reference that Benjamin was a minister, though. This couple resided in Yarmouth. If this is the right couple, we have a merge to do on Rebecca.
