You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Welcome to WikiTree!
You don't need to post a message for me when you complete a merge. WikiTree automatically notifies the person who proposed the merge once it's completed.
After you complete a merge you should look in the 'Biography' section and remove the duplicate information there. Look at the profile for Edna Beattie-983 where I did that for you. Click on the 'Changes' tab to see the changes I made.
Also, when you use Find A Grave as your source, please enter the Find A Grave Memorial # in the sources section so others can find it more easily. Thanks!
Welcome to this wonderful site !
I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going.
Hope you had lots of fun reading "How to Start Climbing Our Tree".
I would be happy to answer any relevant questions you have, please feel free to ask!
Thanks for volunteering, Krista! As a full member of the WikiTree community, you can now add family profiles. Signing the Honor Code will allow you to work on other profiles, too.
Since WikiTree is different from other sites, we have a guided tour to help members learn their way around. The first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
I'm happy to answer questions. Tomorrow, another mentor will check by to see if you need help, and we'll post weekly messages after that.
Welcome to WikiTree! The email we sent has great links to get you started.
WikiTree is unique because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
When you confirm your email, youll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
