Biography

Mildred was born on 18 July 1890 in Bettws-y-Coed, Caernarvonshire, Wales. She was the daughter of Sydney Adolphus London and Julia Elizabeth (Axford) London.^[1]

In the 1891 census Mildred (age 7 months) was the daughter of Sydney Ad London in Gwytherin, Bettws y Coed, Caernarvonshire, Wales.^[2]

In the 1901 census Mildred (age 10) was the daughter of Sydney A London in Bettws y Coed, Caernarvonshire, Wales.^[3]

When Mildred was 24 she married George John Rackham on 13 November 1914 in St John the Evangelist, Putney, England.^[4][5]

Mildred departed England and arrived in Quebec, Canada on 21 June 1930.^[6]

In the 1939 register Mildred (age 49), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married in Jeffries, Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England.^[7]

Mildred departed England on 21 March 1947.^[8]

Mildred arrived in New York on 21 March 1947. Recorded residence was London, England.^[8]

Mildred departed South Africa and arrived in England on 28 February 1958.^[9]
