Birth
Ashley was born in 22 March 1866 in Minnesota.
Residence
When his mother remarried, the family moved to Winnebago, Nebraska in 1882 when he was 16 years old. "He had resided in Winnebago and Dakota City most of his life." (Obit)
Occupation
He was building contractor by trade. (Obit)

"Survivors are three sons, Harold, Winnebago; Edgar, California, and A. J. Londrosh, South Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Ada Chamberlain, Winnebago; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Nunn, Omaha; Ce[ce]lia Herman, Sioux City, and Mrs. Etta Hunter, Wichita, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren."
