He was buried in Tonawanda, Erie Co., New York.

[Notes] Benjamin married Mary Shelley HERSHEY 1 daughter of Christian HERSHEY and Elizabeth SHELLY on 19 Jun 1810 in Marietta, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. Mary was born on 13 May 1793 in Donegal Twp., Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. She died on 14 Oct 1879 in LaSalle, Niagara Co., New York. She was buried in Seeney Cemetery, Tonawanda, Erie Co., New York.
