The Longs lived at 6 Kimberley Grove, Flinton Street, in 1901.[2] The family of nine lived at 5 Norman Avenue, Eastbourne Street, Hull – a house with four habitable rooms – in 1911.[3] Gertrude lived with her parents in 1921 while she worked at Reckitt and Sons' factory.[4]
