George was born in 1889. He is the son of James Long and Laura Robinette. He passed away in 1918 overseas during WWI. He is buried at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial in Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France. [1]
His mother was offered a pilgrimage in 1929 but declined the trip, possibly due to her age.
