The household included William Gregory, 49, born in Kentucky, a farmer; his wife Frances, 45, born in Pennsylvania, who could not read or write; their children, all born in Ohio, Lewis, 18, a laborer; Benjamin, 13; Almeda, 11; Adam, 9; Sarah, 7; and Margaret, 3. Also living with them were Nancy Van Huten (?), 29, b. Ohio, and (presumably her children) Louisa, 7; and Jane, 6.[4]
