It appears Brumfield Long is my 5th great grandfather (it’s actually pretty much confirmed—I have DNA matches on Ancestry.com and Brumfield and his wife Elizabeth Mitchell are the common ancestors). I’ll be interested to learn more about him if anyone here has information. Thanks!

My brother James Long is a Y match. His Gedmatch number is T392520. He tested with Family Tree DNA. Bromfield and Elizabeth Mitchell were our ancestors. We descent from their son Thomas Long who lived in Jefferson Co. MO.
