Biography
Mary Ann Long was born 6/8/1861 in Sussex Co., Delaware, daughter of Seth Long and Jane Long (Mary "Jane" (Long). She married Asher Curtis Chamberlain/Chamberlin abt 1875 and had son Seth L. in 1876.
In 1900 Mary A. Chamberlain was widowed and head of house in Frankford, Sussex County, Delaware with 5 of 6 living children; Asher W;, David J.; (and same 3 as 1910) [1]
In 1910 she was still head of house in Frankford, Sussex County, Delaware with children Virginia, Norwood and Miriam and 81 yr old Jane Andrew. "mother." [2]
Mary Ann Chamberlin died on 3/31/1929 in Frankford, Sussex, Delaware and was buried in Carey's Cemetery in Frankford, sharing a stone with her spouse Asher C. Chamberlin [3] This burial is not on FAG in Carey's.
