Biography
James was born in December 1767 in Loudon County, Virginia. He is the son of Edward Long and Jane Jones. He passed away in July 1828 in Bond County, Illinois and is buried in Smith Grove Cemetery, Greenville, Bond County.[1]
James married first Priscilla Laswell on 12 May 1790 in Franklin County, Virginia.
James married second Sarah "Sary" Miller in Clinton County, Illinois on 21 Sept 1825.
