Franklin Lecurgus Long was born in 1851 in Georgia to John Sanford Long and Cornelia Caroline Elliott.[1][2] He married Laura Louisa Smith in 1883 in Liberty County, Georgia.[3] Frank passed away in 1891 in Georgia and is buried in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Hinesville, Georgia.[4]
