DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
Hey Jessie! I agree they seem to represent the same person. My bad! I created the other profile clearly without realizing there was one for him already. I'm just checking some sources and will aprove the merge shortly. I hadn't added Hannah as his mother probably because I found no primary source confirming that. Joseph and Hannah were married, but I can't seem to find a burial record for her. So there's no way to know for sure if she was his mother or not. I'm going with your Loomis genealogy source for now and will add an "uncertain" if I can.
Edit: I will remove the find a grave link though. It's not a trusted source and I have an actual burial record for him. I hope that's ok with you.
Thanks!
