Biography

Minerva Belle Looney was born at the family home near Rogersville in Hawkins County, Tennessee on 28 Dec 1873. She was a daughter of James Gaines Looney and Nancy Jane Harrell. Minnie Belle married Albert Miller Burton in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee on 06 Sep 1899. They had one child, Nancy Maxwell Burton. For most of their marriage Albert and Minnie lived on 3rd Avenue in Knoxville where she died on 02 Feb 1950. She was buried in Knoxville's Greenwood Cemetery.

Looney-239 and Looney-1109 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same name and same parents. She was my late wife's grandmother. You and my wife share some of Absalom Looney's DNA.

We need to merge Minnie Belle and Minerva Belle. They are one and the same and my wife's grandmother.
