Eric Looney lived in Oakura, Taranaki, New Zealand.
Eric was born on the 16 February 1901 in Oakura, New Plymouth District, Taranaki, New Zealand. He is the son of Joseph Looney and Annie Isset (Baker) Looney. [1]
He married Muriel Florence Mary (Corric) Looney on the 11 December 1929 at Rahotu, South Taranaki District, New Zealand. [2] They had about five children:
- Eric Rex Looney, b. 1930
- Marie Janice Looney, b. 1932 - 2019
- Kenneth James Looney, b. 1933 - ?
- Murray Joseph Looney, b. 1934 - ?
- Jack Looney.
Eric passed away on the 26 August 1994 in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand, age 93. [3] He was buried at the Kopuatama Cemetery, Stratford, Taranaki, New Zealand .[4]
