William was born about 1670. Date is based on daughters Christening date.

William was a widower when he married Anne Smith, daughter to Ricard Smith, of Preston, LIncolnshire, and sister to Richard Smith of Preston. They married in Stepney, Middlesex on the 14th April 1692.[1]

William was mentioned on the record for Grace Loraine, his daughter, when she was Christened on the 12th June 1694 in Kirkharle Church, Northumberland.[2]
