Biography

Rich Lord was born February 3, 1886, the son of Nimrod Lord and Lula Lord. He married Nola Dillard October 12, 1902 when he was 16 years old. Rich and Nola had five Children.

According to Eunice Lord Hunt, around 1912 the family was split up [1] and the children sent "away", so Nola could support the family working in a Textile Mill. (This story is not supported by a grand daughter of Goolie Dillard Sorrells).

After the family spit-up, one of the children, Eunice, was sent to live in an Children's home (run by a family member) on Senate Street in Columbia, SC.

Rich lived with his daughter Beatrice in Fulton County, Georgia in the 1940 census.
