Grace was born in 1903. She is the daughter of Richard Lord and Nola Dillard. She is shown in the 1910 census living with her parents in Varennes, Anderson, South Carolina. In the 1920 Census she is shown as married to Richard Justice and living in Hapeville, Fulton, Georgia
